CancerCare is a participating charity in the Bay to Breakers 12K Foot Race on Sunday, May 19. This event is a 102-year-old run in beautiful San Francisco, California.
We have 25 charity slots in the race, sign up today and reserve your spot with CancerCare!
To register you must commit to raising $500. Your efforts will help provide free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer. CancerCare will also give you a CancerCare Dri-FIT shirt, water bottle, cinch sak, and support throughout your fundraising process.
You can do all your fundraising online through the CancerCare Bay to Breakers website. Once you are a confirmed team member CancerCare will provide you with a link to create your personal page and start fundraising. Your sponsorships can be any combination of cash, checks, money orders, and donations by credit card. Checks and money orders should be made payable to CancerCare. STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REGISTER AND START FUNDRAISING:
Fax or mail in your CancerCare registration form. You will be asked to provide a working credit card number. Don’t worry. Your credit card will not be charged. We only keep it on file in case you do not meet your fundraising obligation. If you do not raise the full $500 by June 2 (two weeks after the race), you will be charged for the difference.
CancerCare will confirm your registration and provide you with the link to create your fundraising page on the CancerCare/Bay to Breakers website; then start fundraising online!
You will be asked to read and complete a combined CancerCare/Bay to Breakers waiver online. Once you have agreed to the waiver your registration will be complete!
