Welcome to Blocks of Love!

In 2009, a group of kids and their parents came up with a way to combine their passion for LEGO^® with their desire to help children affected by cancer. Why not challenge themselves to build difficult LEGO^® projects and ask donors to pledge to support their building efforts? Then, they would hold an exposition to showcase their masterpieces, unite with fellow LEGO^® enthusiasts, and have fun while raising money to support CancerCare’s free, professional services for people affected by cancer. This grassroots effort became Blocks of Love, which has raised over $400,000 for CancerCare in the past three years.

There are many ways to support Blocks of Love: you can fundraise as a builder, donate to a builder, donate your gently-used blocks to the event, and finally attend the Blocks of Love Expo in November.

We invite you to join us on November 17, 2012 as the mission continues. This year’s website will be ready soon, so please check back for more information and to register as a builder!
