Is there a registration fee?
Yes. Registration is $35 for adults before September 15, $40 for adults after September 15, $20 for students (age 13-22) and free for children under 12.

How much of the money raised by CancerCare goes toward the professional support services?
For the Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2009, 83% of funds raised were used for direct program services, the remaining 13% was used for fundraising costs and 4% was related to management and general costs. CancerCare meets the Standards for Charity Accountability set forth by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance and is a proud participant in the BBB Wise Giving National Charity Seal Program. CancerCare's Annual Report and IRS Form 990 can be found on its website www.cancercare.org.
Who do I make checks payable to?

How long does it take for my donations sent through the mail to show up on my webpage?
Once the donations are received by CancerCare, it will take a few days for the donations to appear on your webpage.
What if my company wants to match my donation?
To take part in the Matching Gift Program, please visit your Human Resources Department and ask for a Matching Gift Form. Complete the form and send to the following address.

Are sponsorships, donations and registration fees tax deductible?
All sponsorships, donations and registration fees are completely tax deductible.
What if it rains?
The Walk is rain or shine. If the weather forcast calls for rain please pack accordingly - rain coat, poncho or umbrella.
Can my child (12 and under) participate in the Walk?
The Lung Cancer Walk is a family event. Children under 12 do not have to pay the registration fee, though they will need to register for the Walk in order to receive a t-shirt and cinch sack.
