What do I do when I arrive at the Lung Cancer Walk?

Follow the signs to the Walker Registration Tent, where you will sign-in, register for the event and drop-off additional donations. Here, you will also receive your official Walk t-shirt and cinch sack.

What do I do after I check-in?

  • Visit the Snack and Beverage Tent! Snacks, water, coffee and tea are available to walkers.
  • Gather Your Team for a Photo! Team Captains and team members should go to the Team Meeting Area to pick-up their team sign and take team photos.
  • Get Ready to Walk! After registering, you will have the opportunity to visit our sponsor exhibits and grab some coffee and your bottle of water for the walk. Follow signs to the Start of Walk, where we will have the Opening Ceremony and the Wall of Hope.

What food is available?

Light snacks and water are available by registration, and at a water stop along the route. A full breakfast is not provided If you have special dietary restrictions or needs, please bring your own food and/or beverages.

What are the safety rules?

Walkers are instructed to stay on the designated path and avoid walking on the golf course greens. The Walk route will be marked with directional signs. Listen to official Route Marshals during the event. Walkers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The 5-mile course is handicap accessible. There are a few hills along the course route. Route Marshals will be stationed at these hills with a golf cart to assist those that need help going up the hills. If for any reason, you are unable to complete the walk, please find the nearest Route Marshal, who will take steps to help you back to the Clubhouse.

Dogs, rollerblades, bikes, skate boards and scooters are not permitted.

An EMT will be on-site for any medical or emergency needs.
